They say that a dog is a man's best friend. As for the gods, the same can be said too. Silit, and sometimes known as Kimat, is the dog of the Lightning god Kadaklan. According to Tinggian and Itneg mythology, Kadaklan often sends Silit to those who angers him. Silit is also the messenger of the Lightning god and sends him to relay his desires to the people.
